criminal conspiracy/threat 2 life and rape of a female student.

History Of Some Top Nigerian Universities

All the top universities in Nigeria today did not look the way there are now when they were founded. Most of them took off from temporary sites, with less than 500 students, a handful of lecturers amongst others. Growing a university is a process not an event. You don't set up a university today and expect it to be like BUK, UI, Ife, Nsuka and ABUs of this world.

Hostel Accommodation

This is to inform both new and DE student that want to get hostel accommodation that  immediately after their screening exercise, they should take their Admission letter to the Hostel Admin to collect their HPS form and  fill it and take it to their various department so that their HOD can sign and stamp it and summit it back to the Hostel Admin officer. The admin officer will process it after which short listed student name will be placed before you proceed to the bank to make payment.

This is to notify all Candidates that are coming to collect their Admission letter from a far place or inter state that the DEANERY (office of the Dean Student Affairs) has disapproved the effort of the SUG to provide temporary accommodation for the fresh student and this is all due to the following reasons. 
1. The deanery said they cannot accommodate student that are not yet full students if BUK because they are not fully registered by the institution, this is due to security reasons as the deanery complained that they will not know who they accommodating and dealing with.
 2. The candidates to be accommodated did not pay for any accommodation fees. That is why my office find it important to tell the students

This is to inform members of the public in particular all Prospective Batch A Corp members for 2015 that the NYSC Mobilization Timetable has been release as projected below;
1. 2015 Batch A pre-mobilization workshop. 17th – 19th December 2014
2. Briefing/Sensitization of final year students and prospective corps members. 19th – 23rd January 2015
3. Display of list of all approved programmes for institutions on NYSC portal for cross checking 1st – 15th February 2015
4. Submission/Uploading of Senate/Academic Board Approved Result and Revalidation Lists by CPIs 16th – 21st February, 2015
5. On-line Registration by Foreign and Locally trained Nigerian Graduates 2nd March – 4th April 2015
6. Notification to prospective Corps Members on their mobilization status 13th – 14th April 2015
7. Delivery of printouts to CPIS. 15th – 17th April 2015
8. Verification of Complaints from prospective Corps Members in all NYSC state secretariats/FCT 17th – 18th April, 2015
9. Submission of Marital/Ill-health cases by CPIs. 20th – 22nd April 2015
