now when they were founded. Most of them took off from temporary sites,
with less than 500 students, a handful of lecturers amongst others.
Growing a university is a process not an event. You don't set up a
university today and expect it to be like BUK, UI, Ife, Nsuka and ABUs of
this world.
1. Bayero University Kano: Established in 1977 was founded as part of schools

However, students in all programs numbered only 426. The challenges faced were enormous. Over 60 years of British colonial rule, education in the Northern Region...

OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT through OFFICE OF THE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER (P.R.O) STUDENT UNION GOVERNMENT, BAYERO UNIVERSITY KANO.(SUG-BUK).Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah. (E-PUBLICATION V)Greatest Bukites!!! . This is to notify all Candidates that are coming to collect their Admission letter from a far place or inter state that the DEANERY (office of the Dean Student Affairs) has disapproved the effort of the SUG to provide temporary accommodation for the fresh student and this is all due to the following reasons.
1. The deanery said they cannot accommodate student that are not yet full students if BUK because they are not fully registered by the institution, this is due to security reasons as the deanery complained that they will not know who they accommodating and dealing with.
2. The candidates to be accommodated did not pay for any accommodation fees. That is why my office find it important to tell the students
