Updated Information on the on going strike!!!

HELLO! We had a 2hrs meeting today wit VICE CHANCELLOR of BAYERO UNIVERSITY along his side, r DEPUTY V.C ADMINT & REGISTRAR, through DEAN, Studentd Affairs, DEPUTY DEAN from OLD CAMPUS among others.

So many vital issues wr discussed including strike & suspension of REG.

Here are wat V.C said to us after...

we dropped dwn our questions & requests directly to him:

ISSUE OF STRIKE wic ofcos mst of d students gone 100% dat d suspension of REG till further notice is due to d SSNANU strike, NO, it is not lyk dat, is not bcos of d strike dat d UNIVERSITY suspend d REG as our beloved V.C said, it is bcos of some circumstances dat REG will cause to d UNIVERSITY SYSTEM, dat, mst of d lecturers did not finished markin of Examinations scripts widin dat tym, dat, d REG b4 den sopos to strt in FEBRUARY evn for d fresh students wic r to strt frst den later returning, dat, no fix date for d commencement of d lectures for new session in almst all d released bulleting. As such, not bcos of strike dat d REG has suspended.

Issue of pastin C.A b4 examination, d V.C took dis observation to serious matter n will forward it to senate for approval dat it is mandatory for each lecturer to paste d C.A b4 examinations to commence atleast 2 o 1wks.

And also issue of unnecessary missing of scripts, dsem as pasting C.A, d V.C wil forward it senate dat if in d attendance sheet a students sign in & out, xr is no way for d lecturer to fail d students for wat so ever reasons.

Issue of adjustin library timetable, it has already adjusted durin EXAMS period, frm 9:30 p.m to 11:00p.m

Issue of unlimited spill over , d V.C indirectly shown no intetest on dis issue & instead, he blame d students for d failure rader d lectures.

Creating new parkin space btwn FAIS & AGRICULTURE.

Indeed, d V.C has so many in his mind to make B.U.K forward, quality of teaching, standard n quality students, improve character n learning for d students and so many things.

So let join our hands together and make BUK to wr it has not been b4.
