The leadership of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), has called off its industrial action embarked upon more than a month ago over the alleged sack of its members by the managements of the University of Ilorin and the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA).
‘New Telegraph’ exclusively gathered in an interview with the National Public Relations Officer of the association, Mr. Olayiwola Salaam, who hinted that the strike would only be called off for one month.
According to Salaam, the decision was taken at the National Executive Council meeting of the association.
